Well I deleted that other one because it was impossible to follow, based on content alone. This is just kind of a hello, a real update will come sometime soon, most likely.
As a note, I prefer writing about ideas rather than events. The saying goes, "Show the reader, don't tell." There will be a lot more telling than showing.

There is a big difference between an album full of catchy songs and an album which somehow creates a certain mood only be hinting at it. As it can be said Michelangelo breathed life into David, not sculpted him, truly great albums don't sound like they were recorded, but discovered. Many great albums seem to generate an undefinable aura which creates a mood wholly unique to that album.
I can say with almost complete certainty that who I am now (personality-wise) I will be, or at least closely resemble, for the rest of my life. The personality defining part of my life seems to be over and I have come out relatively unscathed. While my personality is never going to radically change, it's more like my mind is a palette and every new experience of significance adds a new shade of red, yellow, blue, or combination of the three.
Those paragraphs are related.

Okay, that's the last of the lookalikes, I swear. I broke my two-day-soon-to-be-three posting streak by falling asleep very early last night. Well I'll update in a few hours, I'm too tired right now.

Equally fat. Equally disheveled. Equally allergic to cats. Are Michael Moore and Peter Jackson twins?

| Man On The Moon |

There's not too many movies I love, but Man On The Moon is definetely one of them. I remember when I was younger (1999) hearing about how Jim Carrey stayed in the Andy Kaufman character the whole time shooting was going on. I thought that was cool. Even cooler though, is the real Andy Kaufman. The best scene is probably the funeral scene, if you've scene the movie you know what I am talking about. What makes it interesting is Andy's view of the world as an illusion, so he finds it perfectly acceptable to read the entire Great Gatsby before an audience, or even take them all out for milk and cookies. What makes the film even better is the fact REM has many songs on the soundtrack. FUN FACT: Pee-Wee's Playhouse is a reworked version of one of Andy's late projects, Andy's Funhouse.
ANDY: Hi, Michael.
MICHAEL: Hi, Andy. Thanks for joining us. Do you wanna ... you wanna sing a song together?
ANDY: Sure! Is it a sweet song?
MICHAEL: Yeah, it's real sweet.
ANDY: O.K.!
[They laugh.]
MICHAEL: In this friendly, friendly world With each day so full of joy Why should any heart be lonely?
ANDY: My turn! In this friendly, friendly world With each night so full of dreams Why should any heart be afraid?
The world is ...
MICHAEL ANDY: ... such a wonderful place To wander through When you've got someone you love
MICHAEL: To wander along with you
ANDY: O.K., now take every second word! With ... MICHAEL: ... the ... ANDY: ... sky ... MICHAEL: ... so ... ANDY: ... full ... MICHAEL: ... of ... ANDY: ... stars
MICHAEL: And ... ANDY: ... the ... MICHAEL: ... river ... ANDY: ... so ... MICHAEL: ... full ... ANDY: ... of ... MICHAEL: ... song, Every ...
ANDY: ... heart ... MICHAEL: ... should ... ANDY: ... be ... MICHAEL: ... so ... ANDY: ... thankful It's a friendly world! Don't you think so, Michael?
